July's Basic Training Graduates!

Thanks to volunteer escorts, these five long-time Nevada SPCA residents completed basic Dog-E-Mom dog training on Saturday mornings, and they are now a step closer to adoption.  Please give these improved sweethearts a second look!

New Classes begin on Saturday, July 26th:

9:30am - Behaved Beginner, 12noon - Clever Canine

Applications are available at the sanctuary or contact Maria Hosmer for more details at 423-7227 or by email at dogemom@cox.net.  Please note that participating dogs need to be spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations prior to enrollment.  Thank you.

The Nevada SPCA is very proud to partner with Maria Hosmer to offer Dog-E-Mom Dog Training at the Nevada SPCA on Saturday mornings for adopters, members, and the public.

The 6-week courses are $88 (members and adopters get a 10% discount) :

  • Naughty 2 Nice - adults with behavior problems,

  • Proper Puppy - puppies under 6 months of age,

  • Behaved Beginner - dogs 6 months and older,

  • Clever Canine - advanced training for adults.

Maria can also help you with The Canine Good Citizenship (CGC) certification for your dog.
