Meet Merriweather! 🩷⁣ ⁣ This shy 3.5-year-old girl (48 lbs) is a gentle soul looking for a calm, peaceful home where she can feel safe, build confidence, and blossom at her own pace. Slow and steady is the way to her heart, and with patience, consistency, and love, we know her beautiful personality will begin to shine! ⁣✨ ⁣ Merriweather walks wonderfully on leash and enjoys going on walks where she can sniff and explore. She’ll need a loving, understanding family (older/mature kids) willing to help her work through her separation anxiety and show her that the world isn’t such a scary place. With time and a consistent routine, this darling girl will thrive. ⁣ ⁣ Please don’t overlook this sweet girl with her adorable, puppy-like appearance. Merriweather deserves the chance to grow in confidence and discover the joy of having a family of her very own. 🏡🫶🐕⁣ ⁣ #adoptashelterdog ⁣#lasvegas #nevadaspca

Lluvia found love and her family recently sent us this sweet little update: ⁣ ⁣ “Hello! She’s been amazing, she loves spending time with the dogs and our ferret. ⁣ ⁣ She has adapted very well to our home and schedules. We found out she loves watching any scene with the squirrel from Ice Age! She loves fish and chicken. ⁣ ⁣ We are very happy she has adapted so well with us since we were worried about her getting along with our small family but she’s doing very well!” ⁣ 🏡♥️🐈 ⁣ The purrfect happily ever after, way to go Lluvia! ⁣🙌 ⁣ #adoptasheltercat #happytails #lasvegas #adoptionupdate #nevadaspca
Winter is still waiting for someone to choose her. ❄️ ⁣ ⁣ This 4.5-year-old beauty (59 lbs) is a gentle, loving girl who simply wants a family to call her own. She’s bright, playful, wonderful on leash, and happiest when she gets to spend time with her favorite people. She loves going on walks, exploring hiking trails, going on car rides, and even watching nature videos on YouTube! 📺 ⁣ 🐕 ⁣ Winter truly is a gem, and we can’t understand why she keeps getting overlooked. She deserves a family who will give her the love, attention, and lifelong commitment she’s been waiting for.⁣ ⁣ Winter can be selective with other dogs (meet-and-greet with any current household dogs). She is not a match for a home with cats.⁣ ⁣ Please don’t let this sweet girl wait any longer. Meet Winter at Nevada SPCA! ⁣♥️🏡 ⁣ #adoptashelterdog #husky #lasvegas #nevadaspca
