Nevada SPCA has been Southern Nevada’s original no-kill animal shelter since 1982, and for Enterprise families, that history carries meaning. We operate as an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, which means we don’t receive funding from any government agency or from any national SPCA or ASPCA organization. Every dollar donated by Enterprise residents goes directly toward the animals in our care, right here in Southern Nevada. We rely on foster families most heavily for very young animals who aren’t yet old enough to be adopted, pets working through recovery after a medical procedure, and animals who simply need a calmer space to come into their own. Nevada SPCA covers all the supplies and veterinary care, so all you need to bring is your time and your love. Nevada SPCA’s commitment to animals doesn’t end at adoption. Through our community support programs, we work to keep pets in the homes where they already belong. Funded entirely by grants and donations, these programs give Enterprise pet owners access to practical resources during financially difficult times, helping them care for their animals without having to consider surrender. Our veterinary assistance programs connect families with affordable medical care when a health issue arises and the cost feels out of reach. Our pet pantry food assistance makes sure animals in struggling households don’t go without meals. We also offer $5 microchipping, a small investment that dramatically improves the likelihood of a lost pet being reunited with the people who love them.
