Since 1982, Nevada SPCA has been Southern Nevada’s original no-kill animal shelter. We are the community shelter, funded by the community and for the community. Our shelter is an independent 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is completely supported by donations from individuals, local businesses, and grants. We do not receive funding from government contracts and none of one of our funding goes out of state. Nevada SPCA is not an affiliate of the ASPCA nor are we affiliated with any other SPCA.

We Help People & Pets
While Nevada SPCA is a safety net for our community's most vulnerable pets, we are also a human services organization. Our walk-in adoptions and low adoption fees make it accessible for prospective families to bring home a new dog, cat, rabbit, guinea pig, or pet rat. Our foster program gives pets and people an experience within their own homes to love a pet until it's ready to be adopted to a forever family. Our volunteers find happiness by helping our shelter staff in the building and all throughout the valley with community outreach opportunities. Our community support program provides food in our Pet Pantry and free and low-cost veterinary assistance to pet families in need to keep pets where they belong: with the owners who love them.
