3rd Annual Neon Dog Walk

Get your pups and your glow-in-the-dark swag ready because Nevada SPCA’s 3rd Annual Neon Dog Walk presented by The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas is back!
This year‘s fundraiser and walk will take place on Saturday, October 21st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Sunset Park, with the walk kicking off at 6:00 p.m. during sunset. Walkers will enjoy a scenic 1.7-mile (or an optional extended 3.1-mile) walk around the Dunes Loop Trail.
This fun, family-friendly event is one of Nevada SPCA’s largest and most important fundraisers of the year, with proceeds helping to save the lives of thousands of animals in Southern Nevada. Programs include adoptions, foster care, a kitten nursery, and a community support program including Pet Food Pantry, microchip clinic, and medical assistance programs.
This year’s Neon Village (located in the grass adjacent to the trail) will feature live music, entertainment, and pet-friendly vendors. This year’s beer garden is even bigger with local breweries Mojave Brewing Company, North 5th Brewing Company, and Big Dog’s Brewery in attendance serving up specialty craft brews. Tito’s Vodka for Dog People will be crafting specialty cocktails and attendees can also partake in a variety of tasty food truck options including Something To Taco ‘Bout and more! The Neon Village is open to the general public.
The first 60 registered participants that raise $250 above their registration fee will receive an exclusive Tito’s Vodka for Dog People “Walk-Pack”. The first 300 registered walk participants to register online will receive an exclusive “wag bag” filled with goodies and a commemorative event T-Shirt. The Top Individual Fundraiser will be able to celebrate their impact with a staycation at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas!
For the safety of the attendees, dogs must be friendly, up to date on their vaccinations, and remain leashed at all times. Funds raised during the Neon Dog Walk through registration fees and individual donations will help to provide medical care for sick and injured animals and supports Nevada SPCA’s overall mission to reduce pet homelessness and animal suffering in Southern Nevada.
