Prada was brought to Nevada SPCA through the Community Support Program. She was only a puppy but had a very rough start to her life which had resulted in a broken jaw and an injury to her front leg. Prada needed bloodwork and xrays to determine her treatment plan. After diagnostics it was clear that Prada needed surgery, medication and plenty of TLC while her jaw healed.

Update 7-3-2024

Prada recieved her first procedure to address her broken jaw and needs to wear a soft mesh muzzle to keep her jaw in the correct position to heal. She landed a wonderful foster placement that would facilitate syringe feeding her wet dog food until she regained proper use of her jaw again.

Update 8-15-2024

Prada returns from foster for her second jaw procedure and a procedure to address the swelling in her front leg. She has been on a course of medication and no longer needs to wear the mesh muzzle.

Update 8-26-2024

Prada has landed herself a loving home and this 8-month old girl now has a Husky brother as a playmate.
