As a young teen, Megan started Teens for Animal Protection and ran the Environmental Club in high school in Indiana.  She majored in biology at Indiana State University before moving to Las Vegas.  Her career with animals is long and varied:  she worked at Petsmart for 13 years as a manager where she worked with all species including exotics, is a certified professional pet stylist and has been an overnight veterinary assistant at a clinic.  Megan has fostered special case dogs, delivered puppies in her home and spends her life with 2 dogs, geckos, salamanders and a backyard urban garden.
