Entered Shelter: 4-14-2021

Sweet 5-year-old Catarina was rescued from another shelter. She arrived here with a painfully dislocated hip which had gone untreated for a long time. She had been found on the streets suffering from chronic pain associated with a dislocated hip that had gone untreated for a very long time. We placed her on pain meds to make her comfortable and thanks to your support and generous donations, she received hip surgery. 

Update 5-6-2021: Catarina Has Successful Hip Surgery

Catarina is now healing in a loving foster home after a successful hip surgery. She will have a long foster stay due to the level of recovery for her surgery. She will need daily medication and post surgery therapy before being cleared to find her furever home.

Update: Catarina Finds a Home!

After 3 long months recovering in her foster home, Catarina was finally given the clear by the Veterinary Specialty Center and was able to be adopted.
