A Good Samaritan found poor Moro on the side in the street and came to his aid. Seeing that he needed care she reached out to Nevada SPCA for help. Due to his condition and his tiny size, he needed some extra special care. The staff at Craig Road Animal Hospital were able to get little Moro in for immediate care and the little guy had to stay at the vet for a few days. Moro needed aggressive treatment for his eye and he still isn’t out of the woods yet. There is the potential if the treatment course is not able to heal his eye he may need surgery.

Little Moro is currently out of the hospital and in a loving foster home for some much needed TLC. Please follow his progress here!

Update 7/24/23

Moro’s eye required surgery and the procedure was completed at Craig Road Animal Hospital with their caring staff. His medical costs were covered by Nevada SPCA’s Critical Need Fund. He will continue to post-op care in his foster home.
